So.. it was probably a couple of months ago.
I was seeking for new material that creates more texture on to the canvas.I don't remember what triggered me, but the idea came to my head.
"Hey.. what if I use paper mache on a canvas... would it stick on the surface??"
I researched a bit and found out that using paper mache is actually a traditional way to gain texture on a canvas in the art world!
After a bit more research, I became more comfortable using the paper mache, so I decided to try on with my old doodle that I found in my old sketchbook ;q
These are the sketches off of the old doodle to fit in the individual canvases.
And some color scheme..
So after I did pencil sketch on each canvas, I put some paper mache layers.
But the thing is.. I totally forgot to take pictures of them..
umm.. I'm still not used to logging my pieces while I'm working on... ;q
But... here is some close up after I painted all over...
Kinda.. See??
Shoes... why didn't I take pics of before and after.. gurrr...
will do next time >;q
Anyhow, I liked how easy it was to prepare and to apply! ;))) just took extra waiting time for the paper mache to be dried.
but the effect I got was pretty interesting..
I like how they all came out after all!
