Hypnotizer

Hello everyone!
For the last couple of months, I have been trying to do time lapse drawings..
just because I always enjoy watching those videos on YouTube.
So, I wanted to try one with my stuff ;))
aaaand I did it!

This is my very first time editing videos.. so hopefully I will get better and better at it ;p

This ink drawing "Hypnotizer" was one of a few pieces made specifically for my recent illustration show.
After I decided the title of the show, it was really easy to put some sketches down.
and here is the sketch I chose to go with ;))
I usually do thumbnails on my sketch book, but this time some large pieces of drawing paper were floating around my studio.. so I just used them instead..
and I really liked using them because all of my ideas were on one sheet!

After my initial sketch is done, I use tracing paper to get the final composition.
I make little (or sometimes big) changes here and there during this process.
But after I'm done with it, the image is final (left image).
I rarely change things after this step.

Then, I flip the tracing paper, go over with graphite..
Place the tracing paper on a piece of Bristol board and trace the image!
simple and easy ;))

So that's how I get an exact image transfer from one to another.
Anyhow, after that, you saw what happened ;)
aaaaand here is the final piece in a frame.

Hypnotizer (Sold) 6"x7" Ink, Colored Paper, Mixed Media

I don't know if he is a good hypnotizer...
I feel like he is trying to hypnotize somebody, but ended up hypnotizing himself ;p
What do you think??

Thank you for hanging around until the end!
I know this was a pretty long post ;p
