Doughbot

Hi there! Long time no see!
We finally finished moving ;)) It was a lot of work.. a lot more than I thought.. :/

So while I was supposed to be moving and painting the new place...

well...  I was painting my new piece ;p



This piece was for my new friends, Bryan and Dannah from Doughbot in Sacramento, CA.
It was my first time using a company logo in my work.
When I was brainstorming for this piece, I came up with several different thumbnails.
All doughnut themed, but none of them popped.
So I decided to play with their logo. (their logo is too cute anyways!)

This piece represents all Doughbot lovers, including me.
When you eat their doughnuts, you feel like being carried away on a flavorful journey ;))
mmmm... doughnuts... why are you so good?? om nom nom nom...
They always take me to a happy place!

Anyhow.. oh here is the final piece, by the way.

I just dropped it off this Saturday and I am super happy that they loved it ;))
