Twins

Hello there!
As I was telling you in my last post, my blue piece is almost finished! (for now)

This piece is my fourth piece of a mono chromatic series.
I sometimes sketch out ideas specifically for the canvas, but other times it comes out while I'm doodling.
I came up with this idea when I was doodling in my sketchbook and thought it would be interesting to see in a larger scale. 

I also was waiting a piece to try out my new paint medium, opaque gel.
It gives you extra texture on the canvas and works like acrylic.
Before painting the background on the final canvas, I tried the gel on a mini canvas to see how it works.

Found out, it would require more time for the paint to dry before the second coat :/
And it was kinda hard to get exact effect I wanted to my piece...
Learning process takes time I guess ;p

Here is a close up... ummm... Can you see the texture??

Anyhow, it came out good as an experimental piece ;))

Oh, one more thing.
The reason why I keep on saying "it's finished (for now)" is the piece actually is not done yet.
I will be adding a little extra element.
I just need to dig through some boxes to find my tools... which might take some time...
